Who We Are

​Strongbox Data Center Services was founded by Neal B. Parker and he leads all of our projects. Neal has been in the telecommunications and data center industry for over 35 years.

Neal spent over 20 years in the telecommunications industry moving through the ranks and finding a special niche at MCI where he was key in developing their standard for data center design.

In 2004 he was enticed to join a fledgling company called Rackspace to open and operate their first major data center in the Dallas area. Neal's influence grew as he began to use his talents to show how to use stranded capacity to grow revenue. He was promoted to lead all data center design and construction projects across the globe as their Principle Design Engineer.

Neal moved on to Telx managing the Dallas operations and was then recruited to ViaWest to lead a new challenge. ViaWest had just purchased seven data centers across Texas from DataSide and needed a new leader to operate the sites and motivate the remaining staff.

EXPERIENCE COUNTS

As the Director of Operations for ViaWest, Neal improved operations maintaining 100% uptime while assisting the sales team to fill the remaining space. Neal had a key role in building a new 92,000 sf data center in Richardson, TX and was recognized for his operational excellence.

Neal then concentrated on new data center construction for other operators such as CyrusOne. He created Strongbox Data Center Services to provide the services operators need but may not have the staff to perform.
